Urban Scholars Program New York and USVI
"Accepting the Challenge of Tomorrow"
Welcome to the Urban Scholars Program
As we approach our 35th anniversary, our mission remains the same: to provide individualized support that helps our participants succeed in high school, graduate from college, and become productive, self-sustaining adults.
Urban Scholars invites you to explore our programs, learn about the achievements of our students, and discover how you can play a role in empowering the next generation to thrive in an ever-changing world.
Please note that while our programs once operated in partnership with the City College of New York (CCNY), Urban Scholars was never fully a part of CCNY. As of 2023, we are no longer housed at or affiliated with CCNY and have officially transitioned into an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This new chapter enhances our ability to serve students with integrity, autonomy, and greater flexibility as we expand our impact.
Stay tuned—new updates on our upcoming events and programming will be posted soon!
