For six weeks UB scholars dorm at a local university where they attend classes in five (5) academic disciplines getting intensive academic and social enrichment.
Urban Scholars participants attend various college tours throughout the year intended to expose the postsecondary experience.
Each scholars is provided with the support they need to improve the quality of their academic, social, personal, and cultural knowledge and experiences.
Our scholars stay active throughout the year. Students participate in a number of activities including job shadowing, team building, developmental workshops, career fairs, and much more.
